In general, housing in Alaska tends to be limited and expensive. Accommodations are as wide as the Alaskan territory. If it is an important-luxurious company that hires you, you can expect food service, recreation facilities, laundry, and showers, among other amenities. In other places, consider yourself lucky if there’s any space to put a tent in a parking lot. Do some research on your own before signing on the dotted line.

Importation Permit (Standard): you need to apply for this permit at least 10 working days prior to the arrival of the shipment of live fish (including shellfish).
Anchovy Reduction Permit: required for fish processors to process anchovies for reduction purposes.
Sturgeon Egg Processing Permit: required to process sturgeon eggs for canning, curing, preserving, packing, or otherwise processing, or dealing at wholesale, in the eggs of sturgeon for human consumption.
